The Samsung S3 is a solid everyday monitor with a 100Hz refresh rate that makes desktop use feel smooth. The IPS panel provides good viewing angles and color accuracy for casual gaming and media. However, the 5ms response time isn't ideal for competitive shooters—I noticed some ghosting. The 250-nit brightness is fine for indoor use. I appreciate the Eye Saver Mode for long sessions. Connectivity is limited to HDMI and D-sub, lacking DisplayPort. Overall, a decent budget option for mixed use if you don't need extreme gaming performance.
