Our take
The Odyssey Neo G8 is a beast for 4K gaming. The 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response are incredible for fast-paced games, and the HDR2000 with high contrast makes visuals pop. At 32 inches, the 4K resolution is sharp, though you'll need a top-tier GPU to max it out. The VA panel offers great blacks but viewing angles are typical for VA. The price ($495) is reasonable for these specs, but the HDMI 1.4 input is outdated – use DisplayPort for full bandwidth. Still, one of the best 4K gaming monitors I've used.
