Our take
This Samsung monitor is a solid entry-level option. The 27-inch curved VA panel provides good contrast (3000:1) and decent immersion for movies and games. 100Hz is a nice upgrade from 60Hz, making motion feel smoother. At $124.99, it’s very affordable. However, the 250 nits brightness is mediocre, and colors aren’t as vibrant as IPS panels. The HDMI-only input limits connectivity with older devices. It’s fine for budget gaming or a secondary monitor, but if you want 4K or higher refresh rates, look elsewhere.
