Our take
I was excited to try this refurbished Acer 4K 160Hz monitor. The 27-inch size is ideal for sharp text and gaming visuals. 160Hz is noticeably smoother than 144Hz, and 400 nits brightness is adequate. However, the 5ms response time feels a bit sluggish compared to 1ms panels—there’s some motion blur in fast games. Being refurbished, the price is still high at $1,190, and you lose the full warranty. For the same money, you could get a new 4K 144Hz monitor. Only consider if you really want 160Hz.
